Following a consultation with our school community, which included the pupils at our various sites, their families and our wonderful staff, the decision has been made to change Becton School's name. From September, we will be known as Kingfisher Academy.

Although our name will change, our offerings to the community won't. We will still seek to provide the best opportunities to access education for those students who find themselves too unwell to attend their main provision, whether that be due to a physical illness that finds them at Sheffield Children's Hospital for a period of time or a mental health issue that limits their ability to attend their main provision. Our staff will continue to provide the support they always have for our pupils. We look forward to welcoming our pupils in the new academic year under our new name, Kingfisher Academy.
