Position: Administrative Assistant

Hours and Salary: NJC15-NJC20 £27,803-£30,296 FTE

Actual Salary £24,381 to £26,567 – 37 hours per week. 45.6 weeks per year (Term time plus 3 days)

School and Location: Becton School – Chapel House, Hillsborough Sheffield.

Contract type: Permanent – Full Time (37 hours per week Monday to Friday)

Our Opportunity

A lovely opportunity has arisen to join our hardworking and committed team of support staff at our Special School provision within our beautiful and unique Chapel House site.

As the Administrative Assistant, you will be a key member of the office team who provide a full support service to the school. Delivering high quality clerical and administrative support to the School Resource Manager, Senior Leadership Team and wider school environment.

You will have the chance to utilise your sophisticated communication skills whilst greeting pupils, staff and visitors to our school reception. While managing the pupil admission and registration process via the school MIS system, you will also utilise your attention to detail-based skills.

Your organisational skills will be put to great use when you are procuring goods and services and your well-developed people skills will be invaluable when liaising with local authority transport teams for pupil transportation. Your methodical approach to time management and your task orientated approach will be key when working to set deadlines whilst prioritising ad hoc tasks as appropriate.

The role of administrative assistant at Chapel House will incorporate a number of finance admin duties, as such we would welcome your application should you have proven skills in the processing of invoices, the preparation and reconciliation of procurement card accounts.
